Why these requirements?

Even though you will be underwater most of the time, for safety purpose and for surface swims it is essential to know how to swim comfortably.

Timelines

An open water diver course takes a minimum of 3 days in order to understand, practice and master all the theory and skills that will help you enjoy and be safe as a newly certified scuba diver. If you have time, recommend spending 5 days with us (4 in the water, 1 for theory), in order to be comfortable and not feel rushed in the learning process.

Our basic schedule is

  • Sunday arrival,

  • Monday and tuesday : learning how to scuba dive with your instructor

  • Wednesday dry theory and exam

  • Thursday : diving and finishing your open water course

  • Friday: Beach clean up and fun dive to celebrate your course and gain comfort in the water (if you have been delayed in your course and was not certified the previous day, you would have an extra buffer to finish your course that day)

We are happy to teach you how to dive over one or cut the training over multiple trips depending on your preferred schedule. The only thing that matters to us : is that at the end of our course, you are a skilled diver, ready to explore the reef in all safety, for you, and the reef.

Course participation fee

The fee for this course is 34,500 PHP and includes all theory, confined and open water dives, marine and PADI fees and dive equipment. It also includes vegetarian lunch and snacks. 5 days / nights of basic accommodation are included.
